I wish to pay respect to Ancestors and Elders, past and present and acknowledge ngā iwi Māori as the Tangata Whenua and Traditional Custodians of Te Ika-a-Maui and Te Wai Pounamu recognising their unique cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waters and seas where these materials are sourced
